I've had my 2011 F-150 STX since February and I was just wondering if it's too late to remove the STX decals on the backsides. Will there be like an after image in my paint if I do?

Not if you clean it with an adhesive remover afterward. I took the 4X4 stickers off of my 08 in mid 2011 and it looked like they were never there after I got or all cleaned up

Joe, I am your father......(creepy inhale sound)

Nah, you should be good with the sticker. Might need a buff or two to get the tacky stuff at the outside line but thats it.

I've found the only good use for wd-40 is adhesive removal. Every time I get a new car I find myself removing the dealer decals. Never had any paint issues.

No dealership gets free advertising on my vehicle. That decal is gone the first night it gets home. Heat gun and wd-40.
