You can do whatever you want but there's some discussions on the forum pointing at never changing back. Just look around the site and you should be able to find the threads.

In modern day modular engines such as yours, it is now save to switch between oils as needed. The old adage of going synthetic and not being able to go back is restricted to older engines.

I use a blend. Not as expensive as full synthetic. The finance guy at my dealer tried to scare me into a $3000 service plan that if someone other Ford changed my trucks oil and they used regular oil it void my warranty if it broke down. I said I wasn't interested. He was a pretty big ass about it. I almost walked out of the dealership.

No do not switch between synthetic and regular BC ur piston rings are seated to tht oil...first thing our mechanic teacher put in our heads
...he told us tht the vehical will eat oil like no other if switched
