Vibrations

Have a 2007 F150 with a vibration that my mechanic says is a suspension problem that the dealer would be the best at repairing. He says the 2007s had vibration issues not related to tires or shocks/struts. Has anyone experienced this and cured it? Thanks.

Can you describe the vibration? Is it in the front, rear ect?

It feels like its coming from the rear, I feel it in the seat and not the steering wheel. My mechanic says shocks and struts are good and the tires are fairly new and balanced.

Lets do some troubleshooting. To me, this sounds like a tire issue. Maybe you threw a weight. Start by lifting your truck, and swapping the rear tires to the front and front to rear and drive it. See if the problem followed the tires (steering wheel) or if its still in your rumpus.
