Got a 79 150 with a 429 in it. Whats some good mods to get this thing screaming and also have a 77 350 camper special with a 460 any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

It depends on how much you are willing to spend. I always start with the air going in and coming out of the motor. The intake is fairly limited on a motor like that (good filter/bigger carb) I would definitely throw a good exhaust on and let her exhale easier.

Now if you feel like spending some more $$$ you might look into a camshaft and maybe a port/polish job on the heads.

Nuthing like an exhaust. The better she sounds the happier u will b. start there fer sure

Ok i want it to be pretty healthy im thinking cam port polish intake and carb. Then for exhaust some headers and some true duels. Hows that sound on a 429
