This ^^ The two engines are worlds apart in design and technology.

The coyote is about 10 years worth of research and technology on top of the previous 5.0. Both are great motors tho

Guy must of not known how to drive it. There's like a 150 HP difference if the 5.8 is stock. I'd put my EB against any stock truck (except lightning or srt-10)

If you put turbos and direct injection on a 5.0 all I can say is watch out ecboost! :-)

Or you could compound boost a ecoboost with nitrous, change the gears, larger turbos, only thing holding us back is we don't have any fuel system upgrades but I've seen Eco's in the 12s with tune only lol
