I'm thinking about getting a lift on my 1994 F150. Somethin small like 4 inches or so. What are some good manufacturers? And should it be a suspension or a body lift?

Fa tech is the best in my eyes. There a little pricy. But u get what u pay for. Fox also offers the same kit they use on the raptor. Def go suspension and not body. Leme know if u need any help

The years on their website only go back to 1997. Fabtech Motor Sports?

It depends on what you want to do with your truck and what you need your truck to do. O and your budget

I'm mostly just wanting it for appearances and some light off roading. I'd be willing to spend about 1500.

If it is just for looks and light off roading go for a body lift it's a hell of alot cheaper and if you want to go bigger you can always add a suspension lift later

----------

you can find body lift kits for about 300 dollars

the think about body lifts is they aren't practical for off-road use..and they're ugly..

What exactly is the difference?

Body lift is like putting hockey pucks and setting them were the body mounts up it will show the under part of your frame bad engine bay ya gotta get a spacer for your bumper or there will be a bigger gap between that and tailgate. My opinion ugly. Suspension your truck will look exactly the same just taller it lifts the whole not just the body off the frame. More expensive but look way better

Fabtech.com. And fox suspension.com. I really would stay away from body lifts. That's just my 0.02$ I think a suspension lift will give u what I've lookin for. I've just always been on the fence with body lifts. Check what is available fer ur trick with a suspension lift. Not gonna cost u too much and I Garuntee Ull b alot happier with a suspension lift.

----------

^^^^ I agree with mr Roberts totally. Go suspension

I found some that fit my truck. Just slightly out of my price range. All that means is just keep workin!

Body lifts are great they just get room for bigger tires dont change any ride quility or any thing I had a 04 ranger with a 3 inch bodylift and 33's and loved it did great offroad too
