Just picked up my Stage 2 Intake from AFE yesterday!

Anyone installed this yet? Have you seen any gains? I'm pretty pumped about and will definitely post some pics after its all said and done.

Its more looks than performance. The stock intake will flow more CFMs than the engine is able to suck. You'll gain 1-2 hp at the wheels with that.

If you want performance, you should've spent your money on a tune or a cat-back exhaust. A simple, canned tune will give you +60 rwhp and +80 ft-lbs tq and an exhaust will give you up to 15rwhp

It's a good looking intake and I've read a lot of positive reviews.

I would of gone with it if it fit the 11's, but it doesn't so I've got the airaid.

They do make one for the 2011!

Installed! (on 2011)

and I DEFINITELY have a noticeable difference in power. Not the mention the turbo being louder :D

Glad I spent the money!

They must of changed the original design. When they first came out the MAF was different between the 11' and 12' MY

You must have a sensitive butt dyno to notice 2hp difference lol

ever hear of the placebo effect?

I noticed a little better response with my airaid, but like you're hinting at it may just be the extra sound that tricked my mind into "feeling" more power.

Exactly. Dyno graph shows a 0.87hp/0.42ft-lbs increase over the stock airbox with same atmospheric conditions. A forced-induction engine will have plenty of "spare room" when it comes to the intake/exhaust systems, but Ford dialed down its max power output to increase engine longevity. Like I said before- if you want power, a 93 octane programmer will give you about 60 hp in a matter of seconds. But then again, it does look pretty killer when you pop the hood, and that sound really grabs attention.

Any recommendations? I've seen the one from scorcher/AFE. Are there any others i should look into?
