Hey guys I have an 2012 crew cab with the ecoboost. I've been wanting to put on a programmer but I don't trust the sites that sell them. Does anyone have one on their truck ??
And if so how do u like it ??
Thanks

I run the SuperChips tuner. I've only had it a few days, but so far it's great. Makes plenty of power over stock and for a guy who likes turbos and their sounds it's awesome. My Airaid CAI helps add to the sound from the turbos too!

Do u know if the programmer shows up if I have warranty issues ??

Yes, if you load anything into the PCM, it keeps track of what was changed. However, Ford has to legally prove the programmer caused a specific part to fail to void your warranty. (ie they cannot deny you if your brakes fall off for having a programmer).

Sct just dropped theirs too! Unleashedtuning.com is where I'm getting mine, guys name is torrie and has the best customer service I've ever seen! Will also have the ability to custom tune unlike superchips!

I was planning on the SCT with 5 star tunes when they became available, but I won a contest on another forum and got the SC for free. I'll prolly run it for awhile then maybe get something with custom tunes later.

Absolutely! And not just when you put the hammer down. IMO the truck drives better in general with the tune compared to stock. Even my mileage has gotten better (when I keep my foot out of it that is)

What mileage are u getting driving a decent trip at 70 mph??
Right now mine only gets about 18.5 at 70mph but at 60mph I can get 22

Haven't gone more than a few miles at that speed yet. I should have about 200 mile trip in a few weeks and I'll let ya know then.

Just wanted to say torrie did a great job on this tune! Not just for performance but all around. Truck shifts great, I did have him firm up the shifts a little, and my mpg is way up. I had been averaging Bout 13.6 since I put my tires and wheels on. Reset trip b when I put new tune on and I am averaging 19.8! Overall has gone up from 13.6 to 19.8. I only have a couple hundred miles since then but that includes city, hwy, and playing around! I have worked with torrie back in my srt-10 days and he has the best customer service I have ever experienced! Thanks torrie!
