My truck has been acting up. If I press the gas when driving and Rpms are at about 1000 the truck jerks and the rpms will jump between 600 and 1000. I changed the fuel filter. It still does it. It also dies in reverse. And if I'm driving and quickly let off the gas the truck almost dies then pulls back to idle. Its got what sounds like a slight missfire as well. When I timed it we didn't know this at the time but it was only running off 7 cylanders. Now that all 8 are firing again could the timing be off or my computer or coil be bad? Help would very much be appreciated. Thanks
