Ecoboost upgrades

I am new to this forum. I just ordered a 2012 King Ranch F150 with the ecoboost engine. I missed a recent TV auto show on performance modifications to the ecoboost, (on the speed TV network I think) and can't even remember the show series. Does anyone have any tips on reasonable, cost effective, modifications to the ecoboost engine in the F150 application? Thanks in advance for any tips, info.

Raptor 0505021, Thanks that's exactly the show episode I was looking for. I do wish the host would have included the suggested retail prices and the estimated/advertised/guaranteed mpg/performance results.

I will definitely do the air filter and exhaust myself.

One thing I don't understand is the tuner/computer if its the best thing since sliced bread, why doesn't ford simply recalibrate. Also I assume that the computer/tuner would automatically void the factory warranty.
