Hello All

I've got a 2007 with 5.4L and find there is terrible wind noise starting around 40kph (worse if driving into wind).
Seems to be coming from front drivers side, nothing loose and no drafts felt
Has anyone had any similar experience and solved the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Bob

Well, thanks for the reply even though it's useless!
Was hoping that someone with something of use/interest would respond.
Oh well!

Since when? None of my fords have ever had an issue with wind noise.

Thanks for the ideas.
Unfortunately, no bug deflector.
One fellow suggested that it might be missing a part below the molding that covers the wiper spline shafts.
The fellow is a mechanic and said he has seen it twice.
If anyone has any other suggestions, please feel free to put them forth. In the meantime.
I should be able to check it out next weekend. If I find anything, I will post what I find.
Thanks for the feed back
Bob

Ya my 2011 is a bit wistley around 60mph and I got no clue. I taped off everything but the grille openings and can't find it
Sometimes the foam behind the mirrors or the foam between the fender and A pillar missing will cause noise. You might mask the gaps between the fender and hood and mirrors and around the windshield and ect. If it goes away start peeling tape until it comes back. Hope that might help someone. . Good luck.

I have an issue where when I roll back windows down there is like a suction inside the cab that makes your ears pop almost and very annoying to say the least. Anyone heard of this problem??

It starts around 35-40 and gets worse the faster I go. Have to keep just the back windows though?!?!?

Don't keep them rolled down lol. Do you have the front windows rolled down too when this happens? And do you have the sliding back window?

Doesn't matter if front windows down and I like the fresh air to much not to roll'em down. Am thinking about vent shades to see if the deflection of the wind changes anything!

There's a section in the manual that goes over that problem. It says to lower the back windows about an inch or two to get rid of the thumping.

That's not the issue! There is a suction that intermittently bounces my ear drum! They have to be at least half way down or so... And around 35-45mph. I have put vent shades on and no change .
