Tell me what you think I want to put a 6.2L Raptor engine in my 04 F150

Nothing impossible, but its going to be a nightmare and a half. two spark plugs per cylinder, BOMs, computers, etc. I don't think it will work because your MY truck requires PATS to run the engine and the 6.2L has a completely different setup as far as security/PATS. There is just too much electrical problems to try to line up. Plus its going to throw codes like a mother since your truck doesnt have half the amount of sensors a Raptor does.

I know of a guy who swapped a 2001 5.4L V8 to a 2001 V10 engine in his F-150. It runs and everything but he is having so many problems like the speedo not working, cluster lights up, shift pattern is off, odo doesnt work, and thats with a 2001!

Maybe it would be cheaper to just buy a brand new Raptor when I'm ready

Of course it will. A crate 6.2L will run you about $10K easy. Might as well just save up the other $30K and get the body panels and seats too! lol

Of you want to take my advice just buy a raptor I promise you it will save you money in the long run it will cost more to mod your existing truck
