Might be time to get some more. There are Google bots all over the place!!!! Can we get these threads deleted?!?

Agreed, aside from deleting the accounts, these threads need to be deleted. There must be over 1,000. I'd love to help if given the opportunity.

I'm sure there's a few more trust worthy regulars on this site other than just joe.

Wow... Over 500 new threads unread.

Sorry guys, we are working on cleaning this up and implementing measures to ensure this doesn't happen in the future.

100 mods couldnt have kept up with the amount of spammers we got hit with, they were joining and posting faster than we could ban them. Ive been moderating on a couple different sites for a couple years now and Ive never seen this ever. Like Tom said, this should be the end of them aside from a few stragglers here and there that we will find.

Did you input a human verification type thing in the registration page?

We already had one but Tom made some changes to it. There are still alot of them left on the forum that joined before Tom made the changes but posts they make will not be visible to regular members because of the spam filters we have in place so well just nab them as they pop up.

This. Our human verification had been working 99% flawlessly for quite a while. It's the nature of the beast that someone (or something?) would eventually figure out how to beat it. I added some things, and modified other things, so we should be good. And from looking at todays activity all around, it looks like things are working as intended.

Great job guys. This is why this is the only truck forum I have a profile on. Great people and management. Thanks for everything guys and for taking on a monumental task.
