U nailed it! I have alot of blood sweat and tears in my truck. Believe me homes would love love love love to have a new 5.0. With new tech out there. There is so much power in that motor. Yep, installed. Drove into work this morning with the stock settings to find out what the exact MPG is. Then I will switch it over and see how things go.

The intake was off my EB. So I didn't spend any $ on it and its just a air box replacement so it fits both motors.

I've gotta say stock for stock the 5.0 isn't far off from the EB. The V8 doesn't quite hold you back in the seat like the 6er, but that's definitely the 40 lbft of torque and the boost.

Turbos are the best. Loved driving my buddies '85 Camaro that he had turbo'd. 350SBC with a turbo on it, that thing pinned you back like none other. Only thing was it never pushed your foot back. It always ended up in the floor. :D

That was really my only issue with the blue girl was when I bought mine there was only 1 other blue flame truck in town and it was a XL trim RCLB so it looked way different. Then within 9 months there were like 5 that looked almost exactly like mine. That's when I lowered and did the emblems. Only thing I really miss is the power while she was tuned, but I am really liking the 5.0 growl!
