2009 FX4 leveling kit

Hey,

I have a 29009 FX4. Once leveling kit is installed, What is the biggest tire size that can be installed without rubbing?

Also, is there a huge difference between the different brands?

Well I have a 2004 Lariat with a 2 1/2" leveling kit and Im running 35s. THey rub the upper control arm, not due the the ride height, but due to tire width. If I had less wide tires, they wouldnt rub.

I know you should be able to run a 33. The biggest thing is to get a wheel with a good offset so it pushes the wheel away from the truck.

Give us some more info. Like Scott said allot depends on rim choice. 35's seem three rule of thumb as far as height is concerned though.

I was running 33's before my leveling kit so you should be able to go a little bigger.

Stock 20" tires. I can buy spacers if I have to.

Also, do I need to buy new shocks? I had to when I put a leveling kit on my old Silverado.
