So I just found a set of rims for sale on Craigslist off of a 2012 F-150 for a really good deal, they have Goodyear SR-A P275/65R18 on them with 300 or 400 miles....my Dad really needs new tires on his truck (his are P275/65R18s!) his are almost bald and I've been telling him he really needs some for a month plus now. What we would do is put the tires on his 08 rims for him, we'd split the cost and I'd take the rims, and either sell my current tires or tires and rims, or just wear my current tires out. But we've talked about a set of studs to switch around between the two....so I would probably keep my old rims and just put tires on the new rims for me when mine wear out or I sell the tires (my tires are BFG Rugged Trails with about 80+% left....17inch wheels though) I wish I could just put my current tires on the new rims, but they're an inch too small.....my current rims are like one step up from the stock wheels, basically blaaaahhhhh wheels....and these 2012 wheels are the nice chrome ones...
