What is the "BEST" way to remove the dealer sticker? I imagine it's similar to debadgeing, but I haven't done either. The sticker looks like it's made from the same material that dealerships use for pin stripes.

I'll try it as soon as I get home. Is WD-40 safe for the clear coat?

Use a heat gun to soften the adhesive and it should peel right off. Dont get the paint too hot with the heat gun though, keep it on low.

It worked great! I used my wife's hairdryer. It was in the 40's so I had to put it on high. And the WD-40 worked perfect for the residue. Thanks!

For future refrence they do sell an awesome adhisive bug and tar remover at advance auto which is paint safe. If your not careful with oil based products it can damage the paint in the right conditions.

Hot day, use your fingernail to prevent scratching the paint, then bug and tar remover with a terry cloth, not microfiber.

Next time spray it with WD40 and let it soak about ten min and peel it off
