Having issues w starting my truck. Cranks over fast but for a long period of time before starting. I'd say 8-10 seconds. If I prime the fuel pump say 2-4 times it starts better. Runs normal after starting. Maybe a lil low rpms at stops. Say 400-500rpms. I've recently changed all coil packs spark plugs the fuel diverter module put in a carter fuel pump new fuel filter. Changed oil over to mobile 1 full synthetic. Not sure if its a injector or fuel pressure regulator or what not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh 190,000 miles. Other then that fuel module. No issues. Thanks

If its a sensor malfunctioning then a code would be set in memory. Does your check engine light ever came on ? Start with a scan to see if there is code set! Let us no!

How long ago did you change the plugs and COP's? And how long has this issue been occurring for?

All coil packs year and a half ago. Spark plugs about a month or two ago. I think it started before or after the fuel pump and fuel pump diverter module. Which I replaced about 3 monghs ago. Currently has 190,000 miles. Thanks for the responses guys. Greatly appreciated. I'm thinking fuel regulator or fuel injector. Put in a carter fuel pump

What did you find out? Sounds like the same problem my 06 F-150 is having with the 5.4 motor. Thanks.

Sounds like low fuel pressure I would check that and see what is the recommended psi
