New truck

I've been thinking about what truck I am going to want to get in the next couple years and I'm leaning toward an F-250. Does anyone have any thoughts on them? Or know any negatives of the truck? I'm looking at getting like an 05 model?

Get an F-350 if you move up to a Superduty. More payload capacity because it has a tougher suspension. Also get a diesel if you do, not just the 5.4 Triton. That's the point of the Superduty, to tow more than the F-150 lol.

I don't tow anything honestly. I just like the look of it Nd the size better as well.. Also diesel is more efficient when it comes to using fuel.

Exactly, plus the '05 had the 6.0 and they sound awesome. Turbo is really noticeable.

Would you happen to know how they ride? Is it like smooth or not really? And acceleration? How is it?

When it's going to be a little tougher of a ride. Not bad, they make them pretty comfortable, but the suspension is stiffer to support more payload. And it was nicknamed the 6.slow, but it'll probably beat your current F-150 hands down cause the turbo. You'll punch the gas and it'll lag for a few seconds until the turbo spools up, but once it does it'll take off. Have a couple buddies that have the 6.0

Will I see a big difference in hp from my 5.4 to the 6.0?

Haha yes. Think about it, bigger V8 and a turbo means a lot more ponies lol. I don't remember the exact specs of the 6.0, but your 5.4 has just over 300HP and the 6.0 was somewhere around 400HP I believe. Torque isn't even comparable lol.

A stock 6.0 is a dog. It's all trq. If u put a programer on it u can unlock about 120 hp and 200lbs of trq. Along with a few more add ons

Not really. Most of them are all replaced by now. It wouldn't hurt to check tho just to b sure

What would y'all say a reasonable price is for that kind of truck
