Could't find anything on the forum regarding this. My truck's motor is pretty dirty and grimy from the previous owner. It was parked at the harbour every day for a few years. I would like to clean it properly and get it looking nice. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Well. I spray a deluded cleaner on it and wipe it down. Then I high lite with the shiny stuff. I try to stay on top of it in the truck. Mustang? U could eat off of lol. Hasn't even seen rain yet lol.
I use a soft brush to scrub it up. I try to stay away from water only because of my coil packs. Them and water. Not to good. So I stick to my only other option. Good luck. Should come up nice

Get and type of degreaser and spray and clean. Some people use pressure washers but if you do, keep it away from air filter and COPs

Simple green or greased lightning. I dilute it with water. U don't really have to. I just always have so why change what works lol
