Where can I get a 3" lift (not suspension lift) for my 2002 ford f150? And how much can I get one for?

Can I get one cheaper? Cause it's telling me $250 just for the body lift?

That's not too bad for a body lift IMO..

But to me body lifts are ugly and a waste of time..

Also... Ya gotta pay, to play..

Exactly.. A body lift makes ugly body gaps to the bumpers, allows you to see truck frame.. Also screws with your steering shaft.. And if ya get no-name brand the body lift breaks down and falls apart.. Which is major safety issue

So you would go with a 3" suspension lift?

Or go higher?

Personally. I would go 3''. Only because I put my dirt bikes in the back and I also have a bike mate for my hitch. But if I had another truck to play with yeah I'd go 6''

What would happen if I got a 2wd suspension lift kit? I have a 4wd truck.

Which brand would you recommend? I don't drive offroad very often. If I do it's not bumpy just down at my friends ranch.

Don't try that the suspension set up is different it won't work I have a 3" body lift I think its a trail master or somethin trail for like 200 bucks it come with everything to extend the steering shaft and it rides pretty good and when you get to the bumpers if you have a few tools I can tell you how to lift the bumpers without buying anything and you will have to replace the line from youre master cylinder to youre abs block but is not bad ....as far as ugly frame gap the front you will prolly never notice in the back you can take a sheet of plastic or metal or even rubber like pond liner to cover the gap in the rear ...I'd say with a couple of star bits that you will shear off tryin to pull the bolts out the bed prolly 220 -250 installed

I bought a ready lift leveling kit for my fx4 and it was only meant to go on a 2wd truck. I don't know why it says 2wd ONLY it's been like 6 months and no problems. Got it straight from Ford, said they use them on all the trucks.
