I got a 1994 F150 singlecab short bed and a few of my buddies and I wanted to drop a tarp in the bed and fill it with water. I did the math and filling the bed all the way up would be about 3600 lbs. is there a safe way to do this with less water?

Don't do it.. It's stupid to do this.. Hurts the truck and is expensive.. It's not cheap to fill up that much water just for nothing

Do it to a friends truck, like I did to my friends Dodge Dakota lol. But on a serious note, no, it'll f*** up your suspension if your truck isn't rated for that weight.

I was thinking of filling my box with water. It came up while drinking one night. I think I can do it if I just keep it like 4 inches or 5 from the top of the box. I wouldn't try to keep it in though, I'd drive away like a mad man.

Well. Jack stands r a good idea. But now I'm curious. Lol. I've been thinkin airbags anyway. Might help a little. Or blow em out. Lol

I'm going with the second choice there, a very costly mistake lol.

Haha now that I think about it, I'd kinda rather not do it.. It was my buddy's idea and I liked it at first. But my truck, my rules!
