I have a 02 explorer 4.0lt and it cranks but not start. I have good spark and new plugs that are gaped at 54 thou and fuel pressure is 60 psi and compression is 150 psi. Replaced ignition coil and crank sensor and still nothing. What is causing it not to start.

It's your fuel pump. go on the passenger side of ur truck. Behind the kick panel on the side it's your fuel pump reset switch. Hold it in and count to five. Then try to start it. If it doesn't start I think ur gonna have to drop the tank and replace the pump its not that hard but I've ran through this prob a time or two with friends that have had the same prob. Good luck. Lets us know how u make out

It's not the pump. The fuel pressure is at 60psi and the fuel shut off switch has not been kicked. All plugs are getting fuel as well. I'm thinking its the BCM that is messed. This engine was replaced a week ago and was running in the other explorer. When it was put in this one it ran for like 10 min and had no power like it was running in limp mode. What you think it is.

Check fuel regulator to see if not releasing pressure back to tank if not then timing is off!
