4x4 not working

in my '02 when i engage the 4 wheel drive the light comes on and i can hear it engage but front wheels dont spin. ideas??

Ok, your transfer case is engaging, but no wheel spin. Check the vac lines to the front wheels, I've heard a few members on here talking about that when they experienced similar problems.
