I have a 2006 f150 fx4 and just turned a corner and my entire dash shut off then came back on and now my fuel gauge reads empty and says I have low fuel. Any ideas from anyone?? Please help

Check your fuses, they are either in the glove box (open it and they will be on the roof of the compartment) or right below it. Also check the wires underneath the dash. Make sure everything is connected properly and no wires are in need of repair. Try that first then come back if everything checks out ok.

----------

Try and get any excess dust off of the wires and connectors/plugs.

Everything looks fine and I shut the truck off for about 20 min then started it and drove home and about 10 min into the drive the gauge slowly started reading again

Might have just been a freak thing, never heard of the dash just shutting off for a second, but the truck still running.

Everything runs thru the computer so I would suspect there and have it check to see if anything becomes of it that's set in memory.

Sent from my iPhone using F150 App

So I have come to realize my power wire for my amp has shorted and blew the 150amp fuse I am using for it. I think it would be a good suspicion to say that's what caused the power outage.. Think I would be correct?

Well. Replace your 150 fuse. Trace ur power wire for any grounding issues. Also check ur remote wire and ground. Could b something minor
