2013 In Dash Multimedia work in 2012?

I originally had an aftermarket navi/ multimedia unit with back up camera installed but it was garbage(Rosen Brand). The camera had zero night vision or low lux and the navi was clunky and nonresponsive. I Had them take it all back and I'm looking around for something better. Will the 2013 f150 in Dash system with my ford touch, navi, and camera work in my 2012 f150 if I swap the whole dash?

I don't know if you'd have to go as far as swapping the whole dash, just the media center. And it should, there's not much difference between the 2012 and 2013 model, maybe just a few added features for the '13. But the media systems should still fit in the same spot and use the same connecting wires.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking just not sure if my ford touch will interface with all the controls properly. I'm sure as time goes on they'll be better options but I have't found a navi backupcamera combo near the factory 2013 stuff(my wifes 2013 edge has it and its fantastic)

Yeah their system are pretty good. And the My Ford Touch should work as they had it in the 2012 model. You can always ask the dealer if they are compatible with each other.
