Gem module

I have a 1998 F-150 and it seems every time I shut it off something under or by the steering wheel keeps clicking therefore killing the battery . I've been told its something called the Gem module and that it needs to be replaced. Has anyone experienced this before ? If so can you advise

I have a 99 f150 I hear that same clicking and my battery keeps draining to I jus didn't know that was anything to no with it
