So, for my '04 Lightning are they real helpful or just a bit? Air inlet first or just do both together? Any strong suggestions? I see lots on Edge, 2 different models ? Simple to do & keep up?

Custom tunes are the way to go. If you've got the coin might as well go with the tuner and intake combo, but the intake isn't that much of a power adder.

EDGE is good I'm going to get the Evolution for my '05 this summer, lots of power there. And where from CA cause I'm in the OC area and gas is around $4.40 a gallon lol.

The hardest part is I want to have whatever I get next paid for before my kid is in grade school so he can go to private school cause the public schools here are getting really bad student to teacher ratio and overrun with kids of parents that just don't care. They're with it. They'll give you the best improvements in HP and torque, short of a super/turbo charger lol. And it usually increases your mileage too.

I like the EDGE lineup, heard good things about them, and that's probably the brand I'll get when I get mine over the summer. I've heard good things too about BullyDog ones.

Not a fan of bully dog at all edge is good. Sct is good. I have a superchips cortex tuner that is pretty bad ass

My suggestion is to find a custom tuner (5 star, livernois, evo performance, ect) they will all have good tuners. A lot use the SCT platform on the EB
