Bed LED Lighting not working

Hello everyone! I had just purchased a 2018 truck but it did not come with LED bed lighting so I had gone on an OEM Ford Dealer and put in my vin# and it came up with a wiring harness to install on the truck. When I installed the wiring everything fit great but I had one clip thing (sorry not vehicle smart) but the harness fit with no issues, all the lights still worked but the bed lights, I had talked to someone about it before and they said that I had to purchase a device to plug in the computer and enable the bed lighting on the computer, well did all that and still nothing. So now I am stuck with a LED light harness that is installed and not working. I really don't want to wast $275.00 on something that I can not use.

First thing you'll need to do is check plug that goes into light for power. With today's vehicles, it's possible like you said it might need more. Call the seller of the light and find out what they say. If it's aftermarket, your Ford dealer may, or may not be able to help. One last thing find out if the circuit that the harness plugs into might need a fuse added at that point of fuse block.

If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.That is what I used to turn it on. I was told to purchase one as I did and turned it on but still nothing.
