dome lights stay on all the time, Can anyone HELP? 01 supercrew

i was installing a pair of hid bilbs on my headlights after i finished they worked great but my dome lights satyed on all the time, all the doors r closed n the truckis off n licked but their all on aswell as cargo light,
so i un installed the hid kit n put all the stock equipment on n still have the problem,
anyone know what to do will take any advice u guys have, thanks

if its anything like the Ranger the dome switch is in the door latch...try spraying some WD40 in the latch and opening/closing the door a few times

If that doesn't work, just turn them off using the dome light timer switch to the left of the steering wheel.
