Lots of people on the forums love to get new cars and trucks every couple of years. Even with major discounts I have no desire to change that often.

I have a pretty cool setup, a sweet Camaro, a cool boxy little lowered truck, and a pretty fast classic sport bike. I have parts in the garage and plans for the Camaro. I hope to have the truck done this year. Motorcycle will be road legal and running great very soon with a few more projects in mind. But that's it, I'm going to keep my vehicles running as long as I can and enjoy the **** out of them

Thinking very seriously about fixing and flipping bikes in the future.

Haha very true. I've only been on vehicle forums since 2011. Not very long at all. But I've seen a lot of people run off of forums. The ranger forum was the most active craziest forum I've ever been on back then.

Hey Fx4 I had that same year VMAX, 1989 right? Mine almost pitched me off at 135mph. Got rid of it right after. Good looking bike though. Bought it brand new in July1989.

That is a steal! What's wrong with it? One way to slow down the weaving/ wobble is put one size bigger front tire 120 vs 110 mm. Believe it or not Yamaha actually offset the rear wheel 10mm from the front, which causes the wandering wobble. Why they pulled that crap is beyond me. Problem is it's a fixed driveshaft so to my knowledge no adjustment. If you can correct it, it will keep you from that scary weave above 95 mph. Bike is capable of 145mph plus. Just my 2 cents from a member that had one!

Sent from my N9131 using TapatalkI appreciate those tips. I've heard the reason the rear wheel is offset is because of the drive shaft. I would very much love to eventually change it out to Superbike wheels and tires, maybe even convert to a chain.
The only thing wrong with it is the second gear issue known to the VMAX. The guy I bought it from had gotten a quote from the local Honda shop to fix for $600. I found a very good how to thread, but looks very complicated and requires some special tools and for the engine to come out of the frame. I probably will just pay a shop eventually to fix it. Still that's only $1,600 invested.
I've only been riding it yesterday and today. Got it inspected yesterday and insurance today, hopefully licensing after work. So I haven't had much time on it yet, I did get it up to 95 on the highway. Haven't done much rural Highway curves or anything yet. I've noticed it's pretty easy to ride though, I was pretty nervous about the weight and what I had heard about the wobble.

Quy định nÃ*y được áp dụng sau khi luáº*t tiêm chủng bắt buá»™c Lorenzin - đặt theo tên cá»±u Bá»™ trưởng y tế Italia - chÃ*nh thức có hiệu lá»±c. TrÆ°á»›c đó, các báº*c phụ huynh đã được khuyến cáo phải tiêm chủng đầy đủ cho con mình trÆ°á»›c ngÃ*y 10/3.
