302 intake

I have a 302 in my 84 F150 and want to do a 4bbl swap on it what all would i have to change out to do this

I had a 82 f150 302 and I put a victor jr and a 600 holley . it would not shift into overdrive and it burnt the transmission up. mine had a rod that went down to the transmission to kick it down when you give it gas.
