I don't have it, but from what I've heard on here is that Ford/Microsoft (Sync) and Apple are disagreeing or something like that but there should be an update eventually. I'm not completely sure.

Have iPhone5 and 2011 ford with sync and I haven't had any problems connecting or changing music at the steering wheel. Calls sound clear as well.
^ same setup here. Only issue for me is it still won't read or display my text messages, but I just have Siri do that.

I have a 2012 and my iPhone 5 will connect automatically 70% of the time. 30% of the other time I have to tell my truck to find my phone but when it's connected it works awesome. Displays my music and allows me change it from my steering wheel
I wonder if I need an update on my sync. It does not display track info yet.

Are you talking Pandora song showing on screen? That would be nice. Being it's either that or Sirius that I listen to 99% of the time. I haven't tuned in regular radio is a long time.
I was talking about playing the songs stored in my phone.

There is a setting in the IPhone 5 to allow Sync to display and read the text messages.
It's in the General Settings
Bluetooth tab
Sync
Then switch Show Notifications to "ON"
Restart your phone and allow it to reconnect with Sync and it will alert you for received text and display or read them.
Hope that helps..
