1993 4.6l vs 2002 4.6l

I have a 1993 Lincoln town car signature series with a 4.6l in it that is a runner can easily hit 120+mph and I just bought a 2002 Ford f150 4x4 off road extended cab that also has a 4.6l in it. I'm wondering if the Lincoln motor would bolt into the truck? If I'm not mistaken, wouldn't the motor in your truck be more powerful because it's a newer PI version?
