I've got a pretty nice truck -- a 2014 F-150 4x4 Supercrew with the 3.5L Ecoboost. I'm interested in overlanding with my truck, and I'd like to use the truck bed to sleep. I'm 5'7" and my truck bed is 5'6". I was wondering if anyone has thrown a cap on a shortbed and done any overlanding or just plain camping? I was thinking maybe if the cap door were opened (hinged up) and the tailgate were open, and then rig up some sort of netting over the opening to keep insects out, then perhaps I could sleep inside. Anyone have advice?

What do you think about this?

Look at this on eBay Access Denied (http://www.ebay.com/itm/201987194555)

Not sure why it says access denied but just click on the link and it'll take you to eBay

Yep , like Matt posted, there's all kinds of bed tents , found this one pretty cheap on sportsmans guide.....
Or if you want you could get a cap with side slider windows that have screens and fit back there comfortably. And then you've got a cap for other times you'd need. Lots of options. Choice is yours.
