Hey jersey, sorry i was trying to copy and paste my post from another forum that im not receiving help with. Idk if it is my solenoids anymore. I just pulled them out, and i really see anything wrong with them. The passenger side solenoid came out easily but when i got it out one of the screens just fell off the vct right into my hand is that normal? It looks like it connects right together. But i dont know if these are the cause of my problems or not

VCT Solenoid (http://www.howstuffinmycarworks.com/VCT_Solenoid.html)
This should help you. VCT solenoids are about $60 and up depending on where you buy them from. Stick with Motorcraft if you replace them. Good luck!

Lol, thanks guys, yeah i was wonder about the vct solenoids. But not too much anymore. I took them out and cleaned them and looked them over and i think theyre good. I started my truck up and it shaking again at idle and if i rev it up it acts like it wants to choke out, the theres this awful clanking with acceleration and on start up

Idk it sounds a lot like that link I posted. You're throwing the same codes and experiencing some similar problems. The solenoids may look good but it doesn't mean they are good. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah i think theyre bad too. I just ordered some but they wont get here until next thursday. Something odd i seen tho. If anyone else has seen this lemme know but, i took driver side valve cover off to get the vct solenoid out cuz apparently i didnt have enough room for my torx driver to fit in to get the screw. Also the book shows i think 15 bolts for the vc and i actually only have like 10 or 11. I seen on the head where there are holes for bolts but my vc doesnt even have tabs or holes where the holes in the head are

Well i have an update if anyone is interested, i just changed out the vct solenoids. Let it run for a little and now im getting a code p0345, which is camshaft position sensor a circuit (bank 2). In the beginning this is the code i was theowing and ive already replaced that sensor. Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
