Well guys last week I picked this Jem up from Dubuque Iowa which I traded my winter build 78 Suzuki hardtailed chopper for. It has 146000 miles and it has the 300 straight six. Cab is all but 100% rust free, frame is not bad and the box is clean except wheel wells which are gone and very bottom of back side of box. So the other day I did a temporary fix which included cutting rust out and using great stuff bondo then fiberglass. Plastidipped the entire truck and hate it so it's going by bye tomorrow and getting sprayed down with a navy blue color. Mechanically it runs good, I fixed vacuum line and wiper motor and power windows don't work so I fixed those as well.

Got it out in sunlight and it was horrible looking, so I tried wetsanding and it wasn't salvageable so I sprayed it black and cleared and straight sanded the entire truck..not pretty but itl work till I get my old man to spray it the correct way lol

Been working with some different shocks first 2 I tried were too soft and I kept bottoming out...and since I do actually plan on hauling with this truck I am going to try some load assisting shocks from Monroe. I have had these on my Jeep and loved them, well except for trying to compress them to put them in lol
