Didn't drive my truck yesterday or earlier today and when i started it there was a loud grinding sound. a similar sound also happened twice with 2 minutes of startup. once the truck warmed up everything sounded better. could this simply be due to the cold? its been sitting at -23 degrees celsius through the day here

Celsius?!?!? Holy balls, yeah after sitting for a day in that, it most definitely is the cold.

ya its a tad nippily. lol. shouldnt cause any damage though eh? i mean metal does expand a little with cold right?

No it contracts with the cold, and expands with heat. And Idk. Was it when you tried to start it or right after it started?

ohh okay, always get that confused. it was right as i tried to start it which made me think the starter. but then twice more within a couple minutes of driving, so i dont know

Possibly a really bad belt slip? Idk it sounds like its just the cold that's causing it. This is a job for the professor lol.

I would suggest it when you're dealing with temperatures like that.

Where do you live? Ford recommends it on vehicles in the north- Alaska, Washington, Idaho, North Dakota, and all Canadian regions

I live in Florida, and I have been thinking about getting one. My heater core is clogged and the short commute to work leaves me with no heat since my dual-core radiator takes so long to warm up lol

Chuck Norris is a pussy. As long as he isnt in my house bashing my head against my keyboard, I am fine with thaawe093qb 3-45yi 0j;m vlmaS
