Welcome to the forum. Most of the parts are. Just need to do your research and have it tuned properly and you'll b fine. I've done the same thing on my 5.o. What are you thinking of doing?

May I offer a suggestion? Before you start picking out mustang parts for your truck, why not see what is available for it. Its a 2000 truck. There is nothing you can think of doing that has not already been done. The goal is to find out what works and what doesn't. Thats where forums come in. F150.net is a good source, f150online.com f150forum.com and google if you know what you want. Learn to use the search feature on all the sites.

If your goal is to keep up with your wife power wise building your 4.6 will be expensive.
My truck has been bagged for 10 years and supercharged for 11

Hey Josh
my suspension would be different than yours due to the years. But here is what yours set up right would do. This is a 10 second L

thanks for the video there is a small bit of difference in the lightning suspension and the standard f150 (only reason I know this is because of my wifes truck) every company we called DJM/Belltech and the suspension source all told me we had to order a special drop kit for the lightning but I get the general gist of what your saying

Adding air bags is not the same as a static drop kit

----------

All air set ups are not the same

----------

Some are for looks, some are for performance. Mine and the l in the vid are for performance

----------

Looks is going to be cheaper

I had an 02 L
