So new here. Here is my situation. Took my 2019 XLT in for a turbo issue. They said there is a recall for 21B10. This was before the bulletin stopping the dealerships from performing the 21B10. (cam phasers) they replaced the cam phasers because they were still noisy after the 21B10 update. Well go figure, the day that Ford said Do Not perform the 21B10 update, is the day that I thought I would get my truck back. They said that now I have a shifting shudder they have to wait on ford to rewrite or patch the update. Now almost a month later there has been zero change. Apparently waiting on Ford Engineers.
Talking to the service reps today they offered to make a payment for me. Or. There might be a possibility of Ford buying the truck back from me. I should be better off doing that over trading it.
What are your thoughts?
Anyone else in the same boat?
Could this fall under lemon law?
The service rep actually used the term lemon law. Talking about using Ford buyback vs lawyers n lemon law issues.
