My friend said if I got the parts he would replace it. What all is needed to do this? Like oil, bearing, etc?
I have 2001 f150(4x4)

I watched a video on it, and it's semi difficult, the differential and the brake pad and few other things need to be detached for it to pull out!

It's an 02. But pay attention. There are a ton on YouTube. I watched a video on how tile my floor. Next thing I know. They were done. Go for it. And good luck. Let us know how u do
