Muffler delete, glass pack, flowmaster, Magnaflow, are the 4 options, I promised my friend an outlook on aftermarket exhaust systems. The main goal is to be loud but not to create a drone. I like the idea of the straight pipe or glass pack, I currently have a flowmaster super 44 but I'm trying to help him out, he has a muscle car 2012 and we want the vintage yet loud sound.
2 Questions
1) his car flowmaster, Magnaflow, straight pipe, or glass pack
2) my truck, currently have a flowmaster but I want it louder and should I go with a straight pipe or glass pack?

What is currently under your truck? Isn't it a 44?

The car is unfortunately a Camaro, 👎🏽 :( but my truck has the 44 but I did a 15 inch cut that eliminates the drone at 2K but my revving is as good anymore, my friends tell me it's loud but i dont know how loud! I love the 44 but I just want to do a straight pipe for a while to see if I like it!

I had a super 44 on my 2010 4.6 and could hear it inside the hospital as it idled in the mornings

If u would like to b louder. Witch is tuff lol I have 44's. There loud. However. Headers and some high flow cats will def make ur neighbors hate ur truck.
On another note. Tell ur buddy to trade in the slowness for a mustang. Haha! Jk. Same thing. Flowmaster isn't the best for hp #'s. It just happins to have an awesome tone. Same for him. Headers. High flow cats/no cats. And a ba muffler will make that thing sound mean. But that's it. It's to slow to b mean. So it will b all bark. Lol jk.

I think if I heard it from the outside I would be fine, because it was loud, then I did this 15 inch cut towards the back, cold starts are loud, it makes me ears ring, but driving down the road, I don't hear a drone and I dont know if it's still loud after that cut out. But for his Camaro :'( what should I tell him?

You need 2 cats. I have Magnaflow and they are welded in

Just did an axle dump and I have a super 44, at low RPM it's loud can't wait for cold start now

Update:
I had a second hanger installed due to barely passing because of it, and I changed it out to a Flowmaster super 10 with a slightly bigger tip, I'm loving the sound, I'm thinking about long tube headers now, or something to boost power! A real head turner.
