Looking into puting a rough country leveling kit on my 04 f150, think I'll take y'alls advice on sticking with 33's. Looking for 33x12.50 r18, any suggestions? Also, would a 12.50 be fine on stock 18's? Or should I be looking for new wheels as well? What width/backspace/offset? Any preferences on style? Sorry for all the newb questions, I'm new too the bigger rims (usually run 15's)

Sorry for all the newb questions, I'm new too the bigger rims (usually run 15's) A 12.5 will go on an 8" wheel, but it'll look goofy as hell with the angle from the bead to the tread. Worked in a tire shop back in the day and a guy had us put 10.5's on 6" wide wheel and it looked horrible IMO.

have the phasers been done before? idk, they must have, because the front of the motor is really quiet, it's when you get about halfway down the motor on the passenger side where you can really hear it clearly

The baddest tire on the road sailor. I had the in a load range E. Loved em. Got 80k out of em. There isn't a tire out there that can compare to the open country mt. Fuel makes a tire that is a direct rip of the toyo. Good choice!!

U get what u pay for in tires. Nittos are soft. Not trying to offend anyone who has them. But they don't last very long. Traction rating for the Toyos are 5stars. Read your reviews. You'll see

So I've decided I'm going with the Mickey Thompson deegan 38 tire in a 305/60 r18 (33x12.5r18 (ish)), now I'm stuck on wheels lol Here's what I've narrowed it down to:

I would do this one in an 18" wheel. 17 are harder to find good tires. Can u find em? Yes. But on a 17 ive learned it's a little more money.

So I just filed for tax returns, looks like I'll be getting new rims/tires and leveled when I get that back, I really want to do 35's, but i also plan on using it as a tow rig while I'm rebuilding the 79, should I go 33's? Or do y'all think I should be fine with 3.73 ls?

I recommend them to a friend who had the dura tracks on his ranger. The duratracks wore great and he loved em. Wanted something less aggressive actually. I told him about the Toyos. He loves em. Toyo makes some awesome sneakers. That's Fer damn sure. I had the mt's on my last truck and loved them. Great wear.
Toyo makes a good tire bud.

325/60/18 changes your effective gear ratio to 3.55
