Nice, what kind of muffler, I have a flowmaster super 44 but it's on the stock pipes. I want to change mine to duals like the raptor but rear exit. How's the 5.0 treating you?

Stage3motorsports long tube headers. High flow magnaflow cats. With supper 44 Flowmaster muffler. Magnaflow gives more hp but I enjoy the Flowmaster sound. Especially on a ford lol.
And oh yeah. That resonator? We shot that thing full of holes lol

It's sounds like u think it would. Mean. Just needs back pressure. It's loud period. 5.o sounds great just motor IMO

Where is your muffler located? I have a supercrew w no drone. I only have a about a 1/4 of the muffler under the cab. And of course the rest is under the bed. No drone

I also love Flowmaster. And man is it loud as F! If I let it eat. Everybody knows lol I actually want somebody else to drive it so I can hear it lol

Mine is under the bed, flowmaster super 44 and I have a crew cab as well, but I notice that at 2000 rpm (65-85mph guessing) when the radio is not on I hear the drone but not to bad. Since I've had it for 6months, I am getting use to the sound! But cold starts are great!

Flowmaster DBX 3"


Was going to change out my magnaflow on my 3.5TT but bought a new truck instead.
Horrible drone on my Ecoboost. Had solo off-road downpipes 3" straight to this short magnaflow muffler. Was going to change mufflers but got a deal in this new 15 that I couldn't pass up

So I'm new to v8s & I see I would what long tube headers or something like that. When available. However I will be pulling a trailer & & 2 kids under 3 right now. There's no drone. You can just hear the rumble. Now sure if the wife will approve but w/e haha. I'm tuned LET 91. Haven't datalogged yet.

So btw resonator is still on. I'm thinking for now this is what I want. & I got a killer deal on this tip 9990 $30 plus shipping from an old EB buddy

I've always wanted a dual outlet exhaust tip, how much was it to have your entire exhaust re done? I only have the muffler, I want to go to 3 1/2 inch pipes, I've heard a few clips on it and a nice rumble!

Have you heard of a electric cutout? Where it can go back and forth from a straight pipe to a quieter ride? I might think about buying one and test it out!
