I know where the intake filter is, but where does it suck in the air? Sometimes around here we get heavy rains and some streets flood, and I need to know exactly where the stock air intake is, that way I don't hydro lock the engine, I drive a 2010 f150 2wd. Thanks

The highest the water ever got was right at the bottom of my door, I was afraid that the water was going to seep in, but lucky not! I think it was around 13 or 15 inches.

On ours it's about 5 inches below the hood if your that deep water will be past your knees

So I don't need to worry about hydro locking the engine? Since I would need to go through some really deep water. That's more comforting!

If it's over the axles you'll need to change diff(s) fluids
