All I'll say is there is good and bad in all motors lol I've seen Eco's with over 100,000 miles with no issues and I've experienced a blown motor at 24,000. However I had been running a strong tune before for almost 2500 miles with no issues then when I returned to stock she sucked water out of the CAC. Most ecoboosters recommend drilling a small hole in the CAC so water can be blown out

Have a few friends with them and they both love them and how they pull also

I loved my '11 while I had it. Only issue I had was a shudder in a heavy rain storm. Only happened once tho.

Check your spark plug gaps. Maybe change em out. Sp534s work the best. Gapped to 0.028-30 ish

I have a 2012 60,000 kms & have it slightly modded. No big issues for moi

My oil cooler has started pissing oil at 45000 km. It's a 2014, and up until now, I've been very pleased with her. Hopefully my warranty covers the repairs.

Just make sure ALL fluids are changed. Not only the engine, but also the transmission and differential. And for 4X4, change both differentials and transfer case. Each can have their own unique fluid depending on the vehicle. Many people never change these. Then when the vehicle gets high mileage, it has problems. I've seen some transfer cases require regular car oil. I've seen them require transmission fluid. While I've seen others have a specialized fluid at nearly $60/qt that you can only get from a dealer. So it all depends on the year, make and model vehicle. Hopefully you can put the truck on a lift and check out everything thoroughly.
