Purchased a used 2012 f150 ecoboost fx4 with tons of aftermarket stuff I'm sure it was tuned because it doesn't shut down it will run over 100
I'm wanting to use my Sct programmer but I'm not sure what all has been done to the truck
I know it has RBP exhaust and AFE cold air intake

Car fax says it was a repo out of tx and io found the window sticker from when it was purchased new I would like to know more about the truck just curious if anyone knows who had it

Good luck finding the previous owner especially since it was a repo lol. The best way to ensure it would be safe to use your own tuner would be to take it into a Ford dealer and have them re-flash it to the stock tune and then from there do your own tune that accounts for all the aftermarket mods. Good luck!

I guess the only thing I'm scared of is the truck not running on stock tune but I'm sure nothing that radical has been done to it

I will check out 5 star tunes thanks

Whatever you do, don't take it to the dealer and let them reflash it to stock.

It didn't come with a programmer
I love the truck plenty of power
I just like to know what I have and I want the option to change it
I also probably need a stock air box before I take it to the ford place but I'm thinking my factor warranty may be voided with all the aftermarket add ons

Long story short I got the service history without the original owner's name number and address marked out lmao I've contacted him once. He was happy to hear the truck has a good home.

You need some basic information on mods, and how a factory warranty works.

My truck is leveled and with my CAI and mbrp exhaust I have no issues. And besides they have to prove a mod is what caused the failure. I've been there lol that's a nice eco by the way. What was your max speed? And if those tires are larger than stock you can run over 100 due to speedo being off. At 60 I am running about 68 with my 35s
