I have a 1998 Ford f150 v6 4.2 4x2
I need to change my slave cylinder, everything I have read and people said is that its easy, you just disconnect it. My dad looked and said it's in the bell housing, so we have to disconnect the transmission. Has anyone else done this on a 1998 with the internal slave cylinder? I don't want to take it to a shop and pay $500

I changed one on a 94 and its not bad I had to pull the transmission twice because the first one I put in i messed up there is a roll pin and when I shoved it in I cracked the plastic but figured it would be fine smacked her all back together and I was wrong had to pull it back out. Recommend doing on own be nice if someone could help you with lowering and putting the tranny back in
