Po125 http://www.f150forum.com/f6/po125-279183/ The poster is my brother. and when my ac compressor locked up the mechanic said the water pump is probably do. ( after I had just put brand new coolant in ) so we changed that. Then he ran it up to temp without coolant.. I have a bad feeling about that...

It could be a few things actually. Take a look at this, it should give you a better idea of what might be going on:

Dodge Sucks, Chevy Swallows, Toyota's the Turd

You can rule out the fan issue though because you still have a belt driven fan not electric fans, so it's running fine or you would know if it wasn't.

Well you can also eliminate the dirty coolant and not enough coolant from that list.

Dodge Sucks, Chevy Swallows, Toyota's the Turd

----------

It's probably one of the sensors on that list or your thermostat is going bad.

and it usually takes at least 2 drive cycles after they are set for the PCM to recognize a problem severe enough to throw a code

Okay. So I'm not sure when I will be able to take the intake off and change that sensor ( dreading ) and changing the cops and plugs. Will it damage anything to run it? I only drive it like 8 miles a day. But since it is winter maybe a few times a week.

Haha I'm lucky if I drive 10 miles in a trip period. Granted work is about 14 miles away but other than that unless I'm going out with friends between school and other places I need to go to it's always under 10 miles period. As long as it gets up to temp I'm happy. Only down side for me of short trips is lowering gas mileage.

Can someone please make a list of things I will need to replace? I am not sure of what all I will need. Besides a throttle body gasket. And intake gaskets while I am doing the cht sender I am going to replace plugs and cops. And the valve cover gasket. Pull the return line on the power steering pump. Change the thermostat. Maybe hoses? But that's all I can think of. Once again if anyone can make me a list of parts I will need for the job I will be very grateful thanks!

Is it blurry? Or can you read it? I have left and right manifold gaskets. Am I missing anything else? Thanks! And here is the price. Is it good? Or would I be over paying? I don't really need to change the fuel filter as it is a year old. With about 5,000 miles on it. But since I will have to release the fuel pressure why not? I will be doing the tune up. And replacing the passenger valve cover gasket as well. Should I replace the upper coolant hose? Or will I just be wasting my money?

Do u need all that stuff?

----------

At your trucks age and degree of rust. Sorry not being mean. Being honest. If it breaks or goes bad. Fix it. I wouldn't throw a bunch of money at your truck. It may wither away on u

A member on the other forum said the thermostat could be too cold and cause that and to go to advanced auto to get the live ect temperature. Went to advanced auto. The lady who was the only one there was a complete c*** and was talking to me like I'm freaking retarted and acted like I was speaking Spanish or some crap. I was about to say why do you think I'm here? To keep from having to tear apart the f****** motor of my truck to find out it was a $10 part instead of $2000 job
