I have a 2006 f150 4x4 with the 4.6 and metal intake manifold. I was looking up intake manifold options and found the edelbrock victor jr intake for the 4.6 but not the 4.6 triton. I was wondering if it will still fit and what will I have to modify if anything. Also I found a intake elbow that looks like it will mate up and accept all the factory egr valve and other accessories. I will post pictures to show what I am looking at. Thanks for all the help guys.

Most parts won't say Triton, however be sure the parts you are looking at are for the F-150. The Mustang GT for that year also used the 4.6L, however it was 3V and your truck is 2V so the intakes are different.

The intake manifold I was looking at is for the older 2 valve gt

Then you should be good to go, I don't think they changed much bolt wise for getting the actual intake on. As for the elbow, they did change the actual intake tubing setup, and also where certain lines like the EGR did go. So you might want to look into that a little further. As for the Triton name, it's just that, a name. The motors were essentially the same when comparing the 2V versions, the same block and lower parts, just differently designed (but should have the same bolt placement) intakes and different tunes.
